M. Andrea Vitali: First Italian citizen receiving the Hapkido Hapkiyusul Black Belt from Dojunim Kim Yun Sang Lutherstadt Wittenberg (Germany), February 9th, 2010
After years of training, pursuing the knowledge of Hapkido Hapkiyusul, Master Andrea Vitali accomplished in 2009 the black belt program with M. Yun Sang In (Hapkido Hapkiyusul delegate for Europe). Arrived at Lutherstadt Wittenberg, he was evaluated during the entire training time from both Dojunim Kim Yun Sang and his direct pupils M. Jarrod Allan Taylor and M. Hwang Eui Dok, from the Central Korean School.
After several trainings, and asked to publicly show the techniques various times, on February 9th 2010 M. Andrea Vitali performed the Hapkido Hapkiyusul Black Belt examination in front of Dojunim Kim Yun Sang. The examination was performed in front of Hapkido Masters and athletes of different nationalities. By passing the examination, M. Andrea Vitali enters Italian history of Hapkido as first Italian citizen to achieve the Hapkido Hapkiyusul black belt, with acknowledgment assessed by the Korean Hapkido Hapkiyusul Headquarters – Yong Sul Kwan through diploma and membership card of the Korean Central School.
The black belt was delivered during a moving ceremony. At the end of the day, the national delegates for Hapkido Hapkiyusul held a meeting, with M. Andrea Vitali as delegate for Italy. After communication from Dojunim Kim Yun Sang to M. Yun Sang In, M. Andrea Vitali promptly started the advanced Hapkido Hapkiyusul black belt program in Lutherstadt Wittenberg.
